Pocket cards in place of photos
Hey, hey scrappers,I'm here today with a quick tip for using journal/pocket cards on your layouts. Not a pocket scrapper you say... no worries, you can use all of the wonderful pocket cards and MPM packs in the TLP store with all kinds of styles of layouts. Let's say you don't have enough photos to fill all the spots on a favorite template. Patchwork Digital Backgrounds
Hello everyone and Happy Wednesday! As always, there is an amazing SOSN sale today with lots of digital kits available for 50% off. I am dropping in with a quick tip for creating a patchwork neutral digital background. Here is an example (made with some of the goodies in today's SOSN sale - click on layout for full credits): I love creating on neutral/white backgrounds, but sometimes I want to kick it up a notch. Patchwork backgrounds are an easy way to add some interest to a page without using patterned paper. Grid or Pocket Scrapping templates are a super easy way to create a patchwork background. Using a Traveler’s Notebook Template
Hello pad friends!!It's hard to believe that it's Tuesday already! For today's Template Tuesday, I'm going to share a page I created in my Traveler's Notebook using a template set by Sabrina's Creations.I have a ton of Traveler's Notebooks that I've collected and then not used because I wasn't sure how. Now that we have more designers creating templates for Traveler's Notebooks, I'm excited to put these to use!! I plan on using them for "all about me" and more personal journaling pages.For this page, I used Sabrina's Creations Traveler's Notebook template set 5. Back to School Cards
Hello friends!!Tis the season for going back to school and I know it looks super different for many of us this year. I decided to make some Back to School cards using digi-scrap supplies to brighten the day of some friends who are going back to school soon.These cards were super easy to put together using the First Day Kit by Michelle Lincoln Designs and Studio Basic.To make this portrait card, I first cut a letter sized paper in half lengthwise. This made two card bases that I folded in half for the finished card base.I then cut out an layered a red cardstock paper sized 3 3/4 x 5 inches on top of the card base.Next, in Photoshop I created two 3 1/4 x 4 1/2 inch documents to create the card design.
