When I started with social media, I had not idea what a hashtag was. I mean, it's really just the number symbol, right? I couldn't have told you the different from a hashtag and a tweet, and never could explain what a #WCW or #FBF is. Over time though, I've come to understand how useful hashtags can be on social media. Believe me, they are there for a reason. Basically, hashtags are used to sort tweets, Facebook posts, or Instagram photos so that you can search based on what you are looking for. For example, if I search #digitalprojectlife all of the posts, photos, or tweets tagged with this hashtag will come up. Using multiple hashtags puts your post in multiple different categories. Mobile Highlights
It's time for our last mobile highlights of the year, where has the time gone! My husband and I have been out this evening finishing off some of our last holiday shopping and soaking up the atmosphere in our town, it's been lovely.So, lets start with this lovely layout mollycscraps! Molly uses patterns is a beautiful way here to mat her large photo without distracting from her adorably cheeky subject. It's a super sunny Sunday afternoon here in the UK; we've been doing chores and running errands this morning and now we're sitting down to relax and enjoy the last of the weekend. It's the weekend, and it's also my first blog post here at the Pad! I'm pleased to say that Brynn Marie's awesome List of Hashtags is working a treat and I've been able to find a whole host of Instagram goodies to share.I am so into hybrid pocket pages at the moment - I'm really enjoying seeing everyone's inspirational pages and getting stuck into my own.
