Polly Picks – Ashley
Ashley is full of sunshine and brightness. You can go through her gallery and come away with a smile. I love her attitude and love for her family! Here is a little bit about Ashley's scrapping style by Ashley:My scrapping style is fairly clean and simple. I generally start with a solid neutral background and leave plenty of white space. When lacking ideas for page composition, I find that starting with a grid design and messing it up a bit usually works for me. I often use journal cards and most of my pages contain paint and little sprinkles such as buttons, beads or sequins.I am a firm believer in printing pages. My girls love to look through our albums. So one of my goals for this year is to include a date and at least a couple lines of journaling on every page.Simple and clean, and you can recreate or just play with Ashley's Polly Picks now, and get them on sale for … [Read more...]
3″x4″ Wall Art using Journal Cards
Hi all, Sarah here. Remember my Advent Calendar that I posted about in December? I'm so happy to share with you what I've done with that area of my house since then. When I took down all of the advent envelopes after Christmas I left the hooks and clips where they were. Once I had them printed and trimmed I placed them in a checkerboard pattern using the clips.Next I went through all of the January photos on my hard drive and printed off twelve photos that I resized to 3"x4". Of course, the most fun part about this project was perusing through years of … [Read more...]
