Hi Pad Scrappers!Polly Liana here, excited to introduce the newest MPM for June (and it’s not even June yet!). For those who are new to the concept, MPM stands for Memory Pockets Monthly. It’s a wonderful monthly collection that’s perfect for those scrappers who love to work with pockets and journal cards. Each collection is created by some of our most talented pocket card designers (this month it’s Valorie Wibbens, Sara Gleason, Designed by Soco, Elif Sahin Designs, Mommyish and Allison Pennington). They work with the same color palette so all of their designs coordinate, and they are inspired by one key word. This month’s word is ORDINARY (but this kit anything by ordinary). June’s main kit has plenty of earthy colors and concepts. Let’s check it out:After the main kit is released, the designers then create add-on kits that coordinate with the main kit but allow the … [Read more...]

Card making – Birthday
Hello everyone ! It's Guest Polly Gaelle here and today I'm here to share with you my process to create a card. In this example, I will show you how I create a card for my son's birthday. But I like creating card just to say "hello" or to tell someone to have a nice day. So the first thing, I made is to choose the principal collection I will use. As my son loves the red color, I've chosen to use the Mixed Media Collection from August 2020 Music Speaks and its add-ons. Then I create a new folder and inside I will copy all the elements and papers that I really love and want to use in my project. Sometimes, I have lots of elements, sometimes only few. It depends the feeling I want to give on my card. But here, I want something huge and messy. So I selected lots of elements (for me ;-) ). After, I open my favorite program and put on … [Read more...]

"To plant a garden is to believe in tomorrow" Audrey HepburnAre you a gardener? Crazy plant lady? My mom had the most amazing green thumb, she could take a snippet from a plant and turn it into a beautiful jungle. That gene must have skipped a generation because I do not have it. I have a brown thumb. Very brown. But I'm determined to grow myself in this area. (pun intended)There are so many perks to gardening. Growing your own food can mean transportation and handling are reduced. Not to mention, the fresh taste from home garden vegetables like tomatoes can not be compared. Vitamin D is good for you, playing in the dirt is not only therapeutic but is a great workout! Great perks!I love these beautiful pages by Iowan and Cherylndesigns … [Read more...]
