One of my most favorite thing to do with my digital scrapbook supplies (other than scrapbooking) is to create fun wallpapers for my computer and other tech items, such as my iPhone and iPad.Today I would like to share with you a desktop/computer wallpaper that you can use for March. I created this using Roar, this month's gorgeous MPM collection. It's what I currently have on my desktop and I absolutely love it!!I'm a little crazy about keeping a neat and clean desktop workspace. I try to keep it free from digital clutter. Everything is filed away in folders and there are very few files sitting on my desktop. Having a pretty new wallpaper each month really helps me keep on top of this task. You can download this wallpaper here (or use the link below). To install the Desktop Wallpaper, simply click the link to pull up the image in a new window. Right-click the image to save … [Read more...]

Cauliflower Rice
I've always liked cauliflower, cooked or cold, steamed or baked with cheese or eaten raw with a dip; but, it's when I started a low carb eating plan that I really learned to LOVE cauliflower because it was such a versatile veggie that could be used as a substitution for other foods. I was skeptical at first, not sure if a "rice" of any sort could be made with cauliflower but I was willing to give it a try. Imagine my surprise when after ricing it in the food processor (pulsing until chopped in little bitty pieces but not mush) that it did somewhat resemble rice. I found after experimenting a bit that I did prefer a bit chunkier "ricing" but that is totally a personal preference. Also, the ricing can be done with a grater, just that a food processor is faster. I slice and then cut into strips to fit into my food processor. After chopping, I then store it in a container in the … [Read more...]
