Hi, everyone, Sarah here. Last week I shared a post on how I use digital journal cards in my planner. One of the fun things we did last week was go to the zoo and I thought it would be fun to add a pocket page to my weekly planner pages to capture this event.
I use a MAMBI Happy Planner and found that the Simple Stories SNAP page protectors fit very well in my planner. With all the different sizes and configurations of pocket pages that are available, hopefully you can find a way to use pockets in your planner as well. Because my planner uses the arc system I began by punching holes and snipping slits to the edge of the protector so that I could place it in my planner. I ignored the holes that were already there as they were too far from the edge and didn’t line up correctly with the discs in my binder.
I printed some additional journal cards from Just Jaimee’s Storyteller September 2014 collection, printed some pictures and created a pocket page based on our day at the zoo.
One thing I love about this is that it allows me to add memories to my planner without taking up valuable planner space.
I’m loving how this turned out. If you capture memories in your planner I’d love to hear what method you use to document your memories.

I have been avoiding the planner craze, knowing I just wouldn’t keep it up, or have it be one more thino on top of scrapbooking and memory keeping. Then, more and more, I see planners for memory keeping and that seems to make perfect sense. I love how you said this could be your PL replacement for next year. I could possibly be with you on that!
