As we finish off the year, our family has a tradition of having lots of finger foods and appetizers for New Year’s Eve at home. We watch movies or play games and bring in the year with full bellies. One of our favorites and a super easy go-to that we always beg my husband to make is: Sausage Balls.
They are so yummy and you cannot just eat one lol. And the best part….is that they only need 3 simple ingredients!
- Ingredients:
- 1 – pound package of your favorite breakfast sausage
- 1 – pound bag of sharp cheddar cheese
- 2 – cups of biscuit baking powder mix
- (1/4 cup of milk if they seem too dry after mixing everything together)**
After mixing all ingredients together completely you’ll have a dough. Roll into balls about the size of a golf-ball and place onto baking sheet. Bake at 350°F for about 18-20 minutes, until they are golden brown and sausage is cooked through. Serve hot and make sure to sneak a few for yourself before they’re gone.
