Introducing July’s MPM!
Hi Pad Scrappers!Polly Liana, here to introduce the newest MPM for July (and it's not even July yet!). For those who are new to the concept, MPM stands for Memory Pockets Monthly. It's a wonderful monthly collection that's perfect for those scrappers who love to work with pockets and journal cards. Each collection is created by some of our most talented pocket card designers (this month it's Valorie Wibbens, Sara Gleason, Sahlin Studio, Sabrina Dupre, Mommyish and Allison Pennington). They work with the same color palette so all of their designs coordinate, and they are inspired by one key word. This month's word is SUNSHINE. July's main kit has plenty of bright, warm colors and concepts. Let's check it out:After the main kit is released, the designers then create add-on kits that coordinate with the main kit but allow the designer to pursue her own individual style. … [Read more...]

Peach Salad with poppy seed dressing – YUM!
Summer is here - I am always on the lookout for a side dish or salad to go with our family favorite...Grilled Salmon. I like to keep it light, especially in the summer and this salad can be ready in a jif and leave plenty of time for catching fire flies!Since I'm from Georgia, juicy peaches are a natural go to for us. If the peach is at its peak, you won’t need the extra natural sweetness.Enjoy! … [Read more...]
Father’s Day Journaling Tips and Tricks
I'm pretty sure I just heard some groans! Journaling seems to have a love - hate relationship overall. To me, a page isn't complete without a little journaling, even if it's just the Who, What, Where, and When. I snapped a few photos on Father's Day to scrap. Today, I'm here with a few thoughts for documenting the Fathers and Father figures in our lives. One of my favorite tricks to journaling when I don't know what to say is letting someone else tell the story. Is there a child who can answer a few questions about fathers? Or is there someone who will tell the story for you? I love to capture my mom telling stories about her dad. I've added some stories from my siblings about our dad. For my husband, I added a story that a child from church told me. Stories from other voices can help round out the personality of a person. Lists are a great way to capture the moment. List out the … [Read more...]
