Hi all! Aaron here again with this month's installment of Mobile Highlights! I love going through my Instagram account and checking out all of the awesome layouts, and this month did not disappoint! Say Hello to the Beautiful May M3!
Howdy Pad Scrappers!Polly Liana here with the monthly honor of introducing you to the newest installment of our Mixed Media Monthly (M3)!For those of you new to the concept, M3 is a monthly release of beautiful mixed media products, created by four of our talented designers-- namely Paula Kesselring, Nancie Rowe Janitz, Lynne-Marie and Little Butterfly Wings. They take a palette and three concept words and create a collaborative kit based on them. Then, they can create their own add-ons that also coordinate with the main kit. I have to say, I think the palette this month is one of the most beautiful I have ever seen in M3 history. It's bright and vibrant with very sweet elements and doodles. The concept words are FLOURISH/BEAUTIFUL/CREATURE. Feast your eyes on the preview of this wonderful main kit: Others must be equally fond of the kit because there was a … [Read more...]
Board Games: Convention Round Up
Hi everyone, Sarah here. This past weekend I was very lucky to have been able to attend a board gaming convention with my family, a few friends and about 1800 other board gamers. Since I haven't shared a board game post here in quite some time, I thought I would share a few of my favorite new games that I played for the first time at the convention.First up is Favor of the Pharaoh. In this game you roll dice and then assign your dice to be able to pick up tiles that will give you upgrades to make your dice more powerful to help you win the Pharaoh's Favor at the end of the game. You are able to roll your dice multiple times as long as you lock in at least one die with each roll. This was a fun quick game with lots of choices. In Isle of Skye you build up you kingdom by laying tiles surrounding your starting castle tile. Each game will have a randomized set of scoring … [Read more...]

Enrichment Activity: Chipboard Puzzles
Flower blossoms, insects, and more signs of springtime are filling the LilyPad store. Have you seen all the gorgeous spring kits there are to play with? My kids have been obsessed with puzzles lately. I decided a great way to encourage them to do more puzzles would be to create a puzzle for them. I took some of the beautiful spring kits in TLP store and did just that! My puzzles focused on a bumblebee and a butterfly because my kids are learning about the letter B. Puzzles are easily adaptable for kids of all ages, just based on the design.
