I'm all about scrapping efficiently, and I am guessing you are too! Here is a little list of a few of the one key shortcuts that I use all of the time when scrapping. Try them out! Instead of using your mouse to select the tool you would like to use just push the corresponding letter on your keyboard! Keep note that these are pretty basic for all Photoshop progams, but not guaranteed! If you want to know the shortcut key for a tool just hover your mouse over the tool for a few seconds and it should pop up the correct shortcut!Move Tool: MCrop Tool: CBrush Tool: BEraser Tool: EType Tool: T[ or ] buttons: increases or decreases size of brush or eraser you are using (one of my favorite shortcuts EVER!)CTRL + Z: Undo last move (another one of my FAVORITES)CTRL + D: DeselectALT + CTRL + G: Create clipping mask. December Formula Challenge!
December is just about up, but there is still time to get a few challenges in. Have you seen the awesome formula challenge put out by Lauren? Well check it out! Since it’s the month of December this month’s formula challenge has to do with the 12 days of Christmas. And because I don’t want to completely overwhelm everyone while they are shopping, decorating, baking and having season memory fun with family I’m going to be simple. Your layout must include 12 of something. Now, 12 stitches do not count, ha! But you can do anything else of 12. 12 words in your title – not 12 letters – 12 buttons, 12 papers, 12 photos, 12 ribbons or bow…anything of 12!Seems easy enough right? Totally! And here is some awesome inspiration from the formula thread: Lauren's page using 12 fishHeather's page using 12 starsRebecca's page using 12 silly things to be thankful forRachel's page … [Read more...]

In the meantime, take a gander at these pages I spotted in the gallery. Can't wait to see what you all come up with and don't forget to post in the gallery and link us up in the LSOL thread.by kateby dana … [Read more...]
