January 7 - Heirloom

I used the old treasured collaboration. Let me know if I need to redo the page. I had another idea so it's not a big deal if this doesn't meet the criteria.

here's mine
the translation of the journaling is with the credits in the gallery

thank you for this challenge

It's a long story without room to tell completely here but this gives you an idea of the heirloom treasure.

While I LOVE this challenge, it is going to be my hardest one so far- I love love heirlooms, and I have many things I hope my children will keep and pass down of my own. There lies my hard part, figuring out what do this page about. Thanks, brain mice are on the wheel!

I hope this will do Christa. I'm not attached to things but my mom is my heirloom and for the rest of the family too.

Loved this challenge Christa and I have one more thing that I really want to write about, my christening gown that my grandmother bought for me, but that will be another time!

Christa, you know how much I love your pages that involve going back in time, this couldn't be more amazing, the subject is dear to my heart, your page is spectacular...!!!!
Here is one from me.

journaling:
I don't have a real "heirloom" to pass on to the kids. But this lace, which my mom made for me, is a beautiful piece. Lindsey will probably love this as she has also tried bobbin lace and knows how much effort it takes.

I told my mom that she was going to cry when she saw today's MOC layout. As soon as I told her the theme was 'heirloom,' she knew I was scrapping her dad's camera.

What a wonderful challenge! I've scrapped this wedding photo before but never thought to tell the story with a photo of my grandmother's hat. Thank you!
