Day 7 (MOC 11) Heirloom EllenR Small

Description
Translation description;
Family Heirloom
When my grandmother was still alive, we visited her every Sunday.
There was always a bowl of bonbons on the table because grandma loved chocolate.
She had received this bowl as a wedding present. Grandma turned 97 years old and lived independently until the very end. After her death, as the eldest granddaughter, I received the silver-plated bonbon dish. It is usually in the cupboard, but when I present bonbons with coffee, I use the bowl and I always think back to those cozy Sunday afternoons at grandma's....

Ellen, how beautiful and what a wonderful tribute to your grandmother and terrific scrapping of your inherited bon bon bowl. What a special treasure! I love that you still use it when you present bon bons with Coffee. You know she is smiling first that you are serving bon bons and that you are using her bowl. What great storytelling and whoever will receive this bowl down the line from you will inherit these wonderful memories too! I love the masking and large photo of your beautiful Grandmother. Wow 97 years old.. wonderful genes for sure. Such a beautiful page! Thank you for sharing and playing along with my MOC11 day 7 Heirloom challenge. Your page is really special!
