Your Mother, Merethe, was a beautiful woman, and how wonderful to have all these special moments and memories of her. I know how it is with the holidays, but so glad you and your family can remember, smile and laugh at the memories of her & moments shared. I know her memory will last a lifetime. @cfile Thanks Christa, she did mean the world to us and still do. We are always sharing our memories about her to keep her in our memory but also so my grandkids get to know this wonderful woman. It's 10 years since she passed away but these days we are sure to just focus of all the positive memories and it helps.
@designbylime I know Merethe. My Dad died the month before your Mom on our Holiday of Thanksgiving (Nov. 22 it was) and that was my holiday I spent with dad.. he waited that morning until I got to the hospital holding his hand to pass so we would have that last Thanksgiving together. It is no longer my favorite holiday but we reminisce and remember the special and fun moments of everyone together. 10 years has flown by, but I know, like me, not a day goes passed that you don't think of them. I know they send signs to us and know we are remembering them always. I agree re the positive side and you are right it does help. Sending hugs my dear friend!
