I don't have a real "heirloom" to pass on to the kids. But this lace, which my mom made for me, is a beautiful piece. Lindsey will probably love this as she has also tried bobbin lace and knows how much effort it takes.

oh gosh this is gorgeous and yup I would categorize it as an heirloom... wow that is fantastic that you have photos of your Mom actually making the lace. I had seen that on a TV show when they went over to Europe and they were doing the hand lacing.. what a treasure for sure as it is so intricate and so beautiful. I know your daughter will love it & love having it passed to her. Hand crafted doilies and lace are fantastic to have. Gorgeous! I love how you scrapped the photos with the wonderful framing and papers and those sweet little clusters. Wonderful page! Thank you for sharing and playing along with my Heirloom Challenge!
