for MOC 11- Day 7- come join us!
Christa's amazing subject of choice had Sarita and I taking some time to deciding which we would choose! The journaling, a couple of sentences added here) reads: There is so much to say about these...the letters I sent to my parents when they were in Buenos Aires (Argentina), I in Rio (Brazil), and the communication was one of the things that made my heart happy... I just got them when when my mum came over in October, it has been emotional
to sort them out, (my dad passed February 2018, on February 3rd, I was hosting MOC, Sarita joked that he knew he had to wait until the 3rd because MOC closes on the 2nd...) most are from the 80s, some from the very early 90s when I was living in Mallorca (Spain)9.Then there is my wedding ring, (could not resist the temptation to add it) which was in Andy's family for 4 generations,, hopefully it will be Sarita who wears it next!

What a treasure. How I wish I had saved my mother's letters to me through the years even though they were just full of everyday stuff. Lovely memories and page you have created.
Gorgeous, Cynthia! So awesome that you have the letters, and the ring is wonderful! I love the way you scrapped this. The bits of stitching, the vertical title, and the cascade of flowers frame your photos beautifully!
So beautiful my dear Cynthia, and how wonderful that your Mum saved all those letters!! That Sarita can now read them (and you re read) what was going on in your life at the time and then your beautiful wedding ring that will be Sarita's one day. Just gorgeous. Your photography on the stack of letters is awesome.. I love the perspectives you achieved here to see the height of the stack, and of course the placement of your ring on the letters.. well thought out composition my dear! I loved reading your journaling and so happy that you have them so you can talk to Sarita about them and embellish on the moments I love how you scrapped this.. your clusters, layers, stitching, title work, everything is spectacular my friend! Beautful! Thank you for sharing and playing along with my MOC11 day 7 Heirloom Challenge.
What amazing heirlooms Cynthia! Those stacks of letters and that beautiful ring are such priceless treasures spanning generations. I love the big blue title on the left with all the pink flowers clustered on the right.
