Hybrid Valentine Craft – Heart Attack
Hello all! Trista here to show you a super sweet hybrid valentine craft idea. Warning: it’s a heart attack! Don’t worry, it’s a good kind of heart attack. During a recent Pinterest search for valentine inspiration, I came across the valentine heart attack idea and I knew I had to do this for my family.
I am all about simple and easy crafts, and this one is just that! All that is needed are a few supplies and your crafty imagination (or the help of Pinterest). You can completely customize the valentine craft heart attack for your loved ones. Just let yourself go crazy with hearts! Big hearts, little hearts, red hearts, foam hearts, paper hearts, glitter hearts, heart stickers, heart doilies, … you get the idea.
I used some of the fabulous product from today’s SOSN sale. You just cannot beat 50% off of these yummy digi products. Cheap and easy crafts; that is a craft match made in heaven!
I started with a blank letter size canvas in Photoshop and filled it with lots of heart shapes and love type sentiments. I saved the document as a PNG file so the background would stay transparent. I opened the PNG file in the Silhouette software. In the software I was able to trace the hearts as well as create registration marks for the print and cut feature. Once printed, I placed the paper on the sticky mat and placed it in the Cameo and after detecting the registration marks I clicked on cut.
When the cut was complete I peeled all of the little treasures off of the sticky mat.
The only thing left to do iss fill up the box with all of the hearts. I tucked a personal note in the bottom of the box for the recipient.
This project was so much fun to create. I know my family will be happy to receive a box full of love!
