Hybrid Highlights
Welcome to another post highlighting some of the outstanding hybrid projects being created and shared at The Lilypad! This is Dawn and I’m truly awed by the talent of our hybrid artists on display lately.
First up is this amazing page by amandac. The mixed media usage of paint and textiles is so tactile and beautiful. It was made using Flow | Mixed Media Project Kit by Lynn Grieveson & Rachel Jefferies.

Frutselke made this delighful book with pockets full of tags and elements. This was made with the Colmar Collection, Feuilles Kit, Morning Light Kit, Wind Down Collection by Lynn Grieveson Designs.

Always a favorite, ajm created this exquisite altered book page. The use of paint to soften and add color to the book text really makes this page glow. Made with Yearn Mixed Media Kit by Rachel Jefferies & Lynn Grieveson.

And Hybrid Polly Ann-Sofie created this amazing stuffed envelope that would make a wonderful gift/card. Made with All Kinds of Love: Kit by Studio Kaleidoscope.

Last but definitely not least, Lynne-Marie used her gorgeous Flutter printables to create this lovely, vintagey mini-journal. Just wow!

As you can see, there have been some real show-stoppers lately! As usual, I can’t possibly highlight all the fantastic hybrid projects created in the last couple months. One great way to see all the recent work is to look for the Browse By Tag menu at the bottom left of the gallery homepage. Click on “hybrid projects” and it will show you all the projects that have been tagged as hybrid. Or, many are posted on the Hybrid Projects GalleryCome check it out!

These are all so fantastic! I absolutely love all the wonderful hybrid projects I’ve been seeing lately. Never fails to inspire me and make me want to drop everything and go play with some papers and paints! Great spotlight!
big respect to the print, cut and glue peeps!!
