There were so many things I could have journaled about, but this seemed the most overarching theme. 01_14 Journaling As Therapy by AlyciaIN posted Jan 15, 2023 at 3:01 PM
I could have written and written, but it's all just too raw still. He got my daughter's best friend pregnant and it went on from there.
This was a really good challenge to do- one layout I was being hesitant to do! Thank you for the push!!
I often journal for therapy just to get it out of my head. When I'm making a paper based page, I'll often write across then up and down, or layer gesso on top of the writing. The writing is not meant to be read - even by me!! Besides covering most of the text, I placed three copies and moved them individually so the text is obscured. Just like I would do in my paper journal!
@mocamom Robin, I think that hopes/dreams/reminisces count as heartfelt journaling. So here's that page:
My journaling turned in a different direction halfway through. It looks like it's about a car but,... What's really bothering me came out I guess. LOL Thanks for the therapy!! I blurred out part of it as I don't talk about it as there is nothing anyone can do about my children getting along. It makes me sad. I just try to be neutral.
Here's mine: Hard to find the exact words I wanted to use on the page. I probably could have written a book, lol. Huggles!! ~Sarah~
