Oh wow. We went through this very exact situation with kid #3. Boy, do I get it when you say your head knows moving out is best for them, but our hearts are still sad. You are right, letting young adults make their own decisions (and sometimes mistakes) is super hard. I pray that he grows and y'all's relationship gets back to where you want it to be. On a positive note, it's been almost a year for us, and our daughter is growing up and learning how to make better decisions.
