January 14: Journaling as Therapy

Thankyou for this challenge as the story I have shared is one I have not actually shared with many but I have blended the journaling so it may not be easy to read - not sure it is time to share this with strangers.

Here is mine!

I chose to journal about getting a memorial tattoo for my dad (and what he would honestly think of it). It's a subject I've wanted to scrap but haven't yet, because it's hard.

 
It took me most of the day to come up with something to journal about since I didn't want it to be too heavy. I don't like sharing that. So this is it, personal but heartfelt and meaningful.

 
I love these collage papers for helping get a start on pages. This was not a kit I expected to use.

 
I prefer journaling in my digital journal app (Day One) now so instead of making all my journaling visible on my page, I made art of it. I copied the text from my journal app onto my gallery page if you're interested, even though it seems like it isn't required.
