In the past two posts, I’ve shared with you how I go about using lists to help with my productivity, as well as how I organize them. Today, I want to share with you how I keep track of all of my lists so that they are really useful to me.
Over the years, I have experimented with a variety of methods for keeping my lists. Some of them have been tradition paper and pen methods, some have been apps or online tools, and some have been a hybrid of both. The method I have been using recently is a hybrid method that incorporates a few different tools.
- ToDoist – I have used ToDoist for a while now to keep my to-do lists. I like all of the features like being able to set recurring tasks and the different ways that I can organize my tasks. I use ToDoist mostly for tasks for home and personal life, and a lot of my Polly responsibilities.
- Notebook/Bullet Journal – Last year, I experimented a lot with the Bullet Journal craze. I found that it was helpful, but I kept getting caught up in making it look good. What I have landed on now is a notebook/planner where I keep lists for the week of things that I need to get done.
- The Weekly Worksheet – This is a tool that is part of the Together Leader book that I referenced earlier in my series. This is exclusively for my school tasks. It has a copy of my calendar for the week, as well as tasks that need to get done, my priorities for the week, and anything I need to follow up on from the previous week.
I hope that these tools can help you organize your lists and be more productive as well!
