That’s So Pinteresting: Teacher Appreciation Edition

Teacher Appreciation Week begins Monday May 7 and ends Friday May 11. We have been blessed with one of the most amazing Pre-K teachers and I have had an absolute blast planning and making little gifts for my son to take to her next week. Seriously it was hard limiting it to just a few. There are so many creative and cute ideas out there. Today I am going to share a few of my favorites from our Pinterest boards but make sure to check out the rest we have pinned because there are so many out there!
First up I want to share this idea from One Charming Party, a bag of hi-liters with an attached tag proclaiming “You’re The Hi-Lite of My Day“. I love the simplicity of this and the sweet sentiment.

Next up an easy and customizable jewelry piece. These Teacher Necklaces from The Creative Crate would be so fun done up as a hybrid project. Again something really easy, quick, but the fact that it’s made custom really makes it special!

This one is for those “other” teachers in our kids lives…coaches, dance teachers, piano teachers, etc. I like the idea of including them in Teacher Appreciation week too! This particular gift from the ladies at eighteen25 is meant for a dance teacher but you could easily adapt it for other special adults too!

Lastly I really liked the wording on this A+ Teacher Photo Collage from Positively Splendid. Plus it’s always fun to give photos.

I wanted to be able to give my son’s teacher something she could keep photos in from all year though. So I took the basic idea, along with a photo album that I got on clearance from Target at Christmas time, used some of Kate Hadfield’s doodles from Wicked Smart and came up with this:

Make sure to check out the gallery and forum next week because I will be sharing even more Teacher Appreciation projects that I made using May’s BYOC releases 🙂
Happy Pinning & Scrapping
