Happy Thanksgiving week, pad scrappers!!!
I’m thankful for a break this week and for our Thanksgiving celebration later this week as my little family gathers around the table together. Thanksgiving is going to look different this year for many people. I decided to make some Thanksgiving cards for friends and family that we’re missing this year.
I used the Homespun mini page kit by Forever Joy Designs to create each of these cards. The papers and elements included in this mini-kit were absolutely perfect for sending Thanksgiving wishes!
These cards are A2 sized portrait layouts with a top fold. I used patterned papers as the card base. The first card features a sweet little house illustration with the sentiments “Thankful” and “Blessed” against a white paper.
For the second card, I used the elements in the kit to create a table scene along with the “Happy Thanksgiving” sentiment.
I created each of the cards in Photoshop and printed them on cardstock. I was able to print both cards on one letter sized document. I then cut them apart using a paper trimmer and scored the fold line.
I’m sending these out to loved ones this week to let them know we’re thinking about them even though we’re not celebrating this year’s holiday together in person.
If you have loved ones you’re missing around your table this year, use your digi supplies to whip up some cards to let them know you’re thinking about them!
