Hi guys!
I can hardly believe that Mother’s Day is this weekend…it has really snuck up on me this year! I overheard my kids planning surprises last weekend and it warmed my heart so much!!
My mom visited a few weeks ago and I treated her to a mani/pedi, but I’m still planning to send her a card.
I put together a really simple hybrid card and I’m excited to share it with you today.
The first thing I did was cut a piece of white card stock to 10×5 inches. Then I folded that in half so the completed card will be a 5×5 inch square.
Next a created a 4×4 panel in Photoshop for the card sentiment. I used YOLO Paint, Elements, and Papers from Little Butterfly Wings.
Then I also created a 4.5 x 4.5 panel for layering.
I flattened both of these panels and placed them on a 8.5 x 11 sheet for printing.
Here is a PDF of those two panels if you would like to print them out and make this same card!
To put the card together, all you have to do is use scissors or a paper trimmer to cut these panels out and layer them on the card stock base with adhesive.
I love putting together simple hybrid cards to special days! It really adds a personal touch and it’s a great way to expand your digital product stash!
