Quick and Easy Father’s Day Cards
Hi all, Sarah here. I can’t believe June is already here. This morning I created a few fun Father’s Day cards that I want to share with you since here in the United States we celebrate Father’s Day on June 19th.

These were all created in the same way. I began by creating a 5.5″x8.5″ canvas and laid out my card front on the right side of the canvas, leaving the left side blank. I printed my canvas in landscape and then cut it out using may paper trimmer. I folded each card in half and I now have a fantastic selection of cards to hand out on Father’s Day to all of the amazing dads in my life!
This first card I created using Allison Pennington’s Pops. I thought it was a fun look to use the argyle background for the card, looking just like a sweater underneath the tie. The word strips included in the kit were the perfect finishing touch.

This next card was made with Just Jaimee’s Father Mini Kit. I wanted the dots to show though my background for the text so I made the paper slightly transparent. I then took a cue from a journaling card included in the kit and created a paper strip to go down the side to fill up the space a bit more.

For this card I used Little Butterfly Wings World’s Best Dad Papers and Elements. I love the way that the black and white background repeats the main focus of the card.

This last one was created using Quirky Heart’s Canada D’Eh elements. I left the background white deciding to instead use the mountain stamp from the kit to serve as my background. I finished the card up by typing in my sentiment using Heather Joyce’s The Typewriter font.

Are you planning on creating handmade cards for the fathers in your life? If so make sure to share them in the Hybrid Projects gallery. I’d love to see them!
