Hi friends!!
It’s Monica here to share some hybrid “punny cards” I made using digital stickers. I love these so much and I can’t wait to send them to a friend because I know it will make them smile.
I have a particular love for puns and, thus, punny cards!! When I saw Becca Bonneville’s Stuck on You Vol. 2 Sticker Set I knew these would be absolutely purr-fect for some punny cards.
To make these cards, I opened a letter-sized document in Photoshop. I then created four 3.5 in x 5 in rectangle shapes and placed stickers from Becca’s element pack in each one, making sure to center it. I then selected a color from the sticker and filled the rectangle with that background color. I also added a drop shadow to give some dimension.
I printed out this document and used a paper trimmer to cut out each card. I repeated this process to make a total of eight cards.
Next, I used my envelope punch board to create envelopes in coordinating colors using cardstock paper.
You can also print patterned paper from a digital kit onto copy paper or cardstock and use that to create a matching envelope. I did this for one of the cards.
These “punny” cards make me so happy and I love having a set of eight cards and matching envelopes that would brighten anyone’s day!!
Do you share my affinity for “punny” cards?? If you do, these hybrid cards are just the project for you!!
