Hi everyone, Sarah here and today I’ve got a new planner project for the month of June. Today I’m sharing with you a little accordion fold notebook that I created to record the daily details. I can throw this book in my purse and quickly jot down a memory or two each day.
I started off with Just Jaimee’s June Printable Planner Kit.
I opened up the personal planner pages and resized them to be 8.5″ tall. This allows for lots of room for recording, while still keeping it a portable size. I used thin washi tape to connect the pages, making sure to leave a bit of a gap to make folding the pages easier.
I continued attaching the remainder of the pages, making sure to place the washi on the front and back of each set of pages. I then trimmed all of the washi even with the pages.
I printed one of the inserts from the kit to use as a front cover. This was also resized to 8.5″ tall.
I added a back cover as well.
Of course I had to decorate it. Here’s the first week filled in.
And this week so far.
I didn’t do very much predecorating, but I went ahead and added these stickers for Father’s Day and the first day of summer.
I love having a little dated planner I can take with me to record these little moments that I might otherwise forget. These notes turn out to be a wonderful resource for Project Life and other scrapbooking projects. You could also add pictures directly to this planner and have a nice little mini album at the end of the month. How do you keep track of your day to day memories? Let me know in the comments, I’m always looking for new ways to remember the little happenings in our lives.
