OK, scrappers. I have a confession to make. I am not so great with paper, scissors and glue. Honestly, I never have been. Even in Kindergarten, LOL. I was a traditional scrapper, of course, before I went digi, but once I did my first page with my computer, I never looked back. That said, I am in awe of the talented folks who are super handy with their non-digital crafty supplies. So, I wanted to show off a few from The Lilypad gallery. Perhaps it’s just what we need for inspiration, right?
First of all, cards! They are a staple for the hybrid world and really quite useful in the real world ;). I actually went through a card-making stent and even made my own Baby Announcements for my DD, who is now eight. Sadly, my cards didn’t really look like these, but I may just have to try again. Anyway, enough about me… Here are a couple of cards from our gallery that I just love.
She used this cute set by Kate Hadfield. By the way, her stuff is AWESOME for hybrid. Just sayin’…
Here’s another that I love. That saying on it… perfect for many occasions, LOL.
She used this fun kit from Pink Reptile Designs and NiniGoesDigi.
Now, you have to check out this Hybrid Album. Simple. Elegant. Wonderful.
She used these Journal Cards and Stamped Sentiments by Sahlin Studios. I just love when people find creative ways to use journal cards, don’t you? And I thought at first glance that she actually stamped on her album. So very cool.
And finally, I’d like to show you this super creative CD holder. I just love this and anyone would be thrilled to receive it as a gift.
Using this gorgeous kit from Laurie Ann.
So, if you want to stretch your stash and get the pleasure of working with your hands, grab some products you love and just do it! Hybrid is cool :)
