Hybrid Gift Tags from Journal Cards

Hello friends!! It’s Monica here today to share some easy to make Christmas gift tags.

All of the gifts that I have ordered for Christmas have started rolling in on the delivery trucks which means that it’s time for me to get busy wrapping! I love making my own gift tags for Christmas using the wonderful journal tags available here at The Lilypad.

For the gift tags I’m sharing today, I used Falala Journal Cards, Jingle Journal Cards, and Holly Days Journal Cards. I used the 3×4 size of all of these journal cards.

I selected the journal cards I wanted to use and brought them into a letter-sized document in Photoshop. I then resized each journal card by 50%. I thought the 3×4 size was just a little too big for the gifts I was wrapping but wanted to keep the dimension. I used guides to line the journal cards up for easy cutting.

Then I printed the journal cards on cardstock paper and used a paper trimmer to cut them all out.

I also used a small hole punch to put a hole in the top of the journal cards and placed twine through this hole.

I cannot wait to use these in my gift wrapping this year!! I hope you’ll give these easy gift tags a try for yourself!
