Happy Wednesday! Polly Shannon here with a quick and easy tutorial about making your own hidden journaling cards for Project Life. My Project Life is all hybrid/paper and I love the fact that I can keep thoughts hidden but still able to be found. What I love even more is how easy these cards are to make!
Start by printing what will br the front of your journaling card. Be sure to leave 3″ (if you’re doing a 3×4 card) of white space to the left of the card so that the card can folded. [if you’re like me and don’t like to waste paper you’ll likely have other items on this paper as well]
Next you’re going to cut out the card. You’ll notice in my photo that I’m making it just under 6″ long. This is because the pockets in the page protectors are just under 3″ wide and I want my card to fit once it’s folded.
Then you’re simply going to fold the card in half. I like a bone folder to get a crisp fold.
Finally, add any embellishments that you may want and insert it into your page protector!
There you have it! Super easy, right? I used a journaling card from The Weekender Journaling Cards by Paislee Press. Inside I added a screen shot of a super sweet text that my husband sent me. I hope I’ve inspired you to try this in your own project!
