Journaling (174 words) My journey to digital scrap booking began in 2006 when I realized that making hand made pages was going to be too much as a working mom. I started using the canned "program" scrapbook max and soon realized that there was a whole other world out there of stores, galleries and forums. I joined my first online home "Digital Freebies" on iNSD in 2008 and used the name nof007750 because it was my login at work and didn't give away any personal information. I soon joined Digishop talk and used the user name jnoffsinger. As I began to join Creative teams, my stores expanded and I realized that I needed to pick one user name and stick with it so I could start having a consistent online presence. I decided to stick with nof007750 and now more than a decade later (wow! how did that happen?) that is my online identify for good or bad. Sometimes I wish I had something more meaningful or artsy, but it would be too much to change now.
Like I said in the gallery - not something that I would usually scrapbook about - but thanks for the great challenge!
my surname is Scraps voyages Translation: I still have very little imagination when i have to choose nicknames and passwords etc ...even if i think a lot it's stille very basic . So on the forums, i sue my real name Katell...i'm lucky this celtic name is very little known and who goes for a real nickname. When i 've opened my blog, i wanted something more anonymous than my name and that corresponds to the spirit of my blog , loving to travel and scrapping (and reading, watching series etc) and i've chosen "Scraps Voyages", it sounded pretty good. So I made my banner by grouping several photos and indicating this nickname. Since I wrote several posts about travel and scrap!
I have commented on everyone's page {as far as I know} to this point! If I missed yours, please please tell me so I can go back! I love all the sharing your have done!
Great idea. Thank you for hosting. kit: Favorite Things (alpha, elements and paper) by Bella Gypsy journaling (237 words): When I first thought of my username. I was not sure what to use. I finally found the one that fit me “Got2DigiScrap.” I was always interested in scrapping and bought lots of packs of paper and new got time to do it. I had my son and went into a dark part of my life. We were in NICU for 5 1/2 months. Oh how my mind would wonder. I had to find an “out” so I started digitally scrapping. There I was doing what I always wanted and I could do it anytime, anyplace, all I needed was my laptop. So I started daily scrapping. My insomnia, tv binge nights were replaced with me saying I had to scrapbook. It was a great outcome of my NICU time and beyond. I love it because my kids help me and support me. They will come tell me we finished a Disney trip, mommy needs to have her scrapbook time. They will even help me with their input by telling me to move a picture or telling me it is perfect just the way it is. I love the hobby that I gained during the time of keeping me from getting lost all those sleepless nights. I love that it makes me have wonderful books and memories for my children as they grow because even now all the years later I still find that I “got2digiscrap” daily. Later, when I went to form an identity for an online RPG character, it seemed natural to use this nickname, but of course, there’s also a fairly famous musician known as Dr.Dre, and so it was difficult to find a variation that was available, without also appending annoying numbers to the end. So I stuck an ‘s’ on it, for my last name. Draes is now a permanent feature in my life. I use it in all of my gaming identities in some form, and all of my devices are named on some variation of the Drae, and most of my social media is hooked to this identity in some form or fashion. even many of my friends and family members call me Drae, now. it started out as a snarky rebellion, and it became an enduring piece of my identity.
Thanks for the fun challenge! Fun to create a LO, and to read others 167 words. Journaling in gallery.
