3 sentences of journaling. Repeated elements: circle elements. Messy element - torn edge Journaling: I had not being feeling very good for quite a while. I kept feeling very fatigued any time I tried to run more than 3 miles. When it got to the point that I could no longer run more than 3 miles straight (along with other symptoms) I asked my Dr. to run my ANA thinking it was auto-immune related. Sure enough I was diagnosed with an Auto-Immune and started taking meds that made the world of difference. This is the first race I did - a 10K (6.2ish miles) that I felt great throughout and after.
Repeated element - red arrows
Messy element - worn edge on page and center circle plus stamp
Quote - Keep Calm and Fly On
Journaling - see full journaling in gallery
I took my time with this one, sitting with it over this past week. It was a good time of reflection and noticing this shift.
I think I hit the minimum journaling criteria. I'll count the mushrooms as my 3 repeated elements, I've got a little word art and several word strips, and paint, messy threads and a scatter (I love messy stuff).
My page is about being more adventurous and traveling again. - One repeated design motif: Button - Messy element: Paper heart & brush work - At least 3 lines of journaling - yes!
A pun is not fully matured until it is full groan.

For a while I couldn't think of anything I wanted to scrap. One idea was the time a horse literally reared up and I slipped off its tail, but it's not much of a story. I was only about 10, with my extended family (it was my uncle's horse and it was a holiday), I didn't get upset, and I've happily ridden a few horses since then without fear.
Finally, it occurred to me that I've been trying to increase my salad-eating for decades.
