I too have come to this conclusion. I always plant more than I need because some will be eaten by animals or lost to unfavourable growing conditions. This year deer came through and devoured all my beans and tomatoes leaving nothing behind… I wasn’t too happy about that! However, we still have lots of other stuff growing, so… more zucchini for us I guess! Great attitude to have when gardening. It’s either that or you give up!
