Summer Camp week 4 challenge: Back in the Saddle.
My husband took this photo of me as I was walking down the street one morning on our trip to Barcelona (without me knowing it). I removed a few people to make it less distracting - One repeated design motif: Button - Messy element: Paper heart & brush work - At least 3 lines of journaling - yes!

Thanks for looking!
i kinda blame instagram & social media for making us think travel will be perfect (and picture perfect) every moment. I go back and forth about removing people and distractions myself because of that - your clusters amazing, as always and i'm glad it was treasured and hopefully full of highlights even if not perfect, much like life in general.
I love that photo so much and that you kept it big, in muted tones. The placement of the journaling and elements is perfect. I love to travel, it's one of my favorite things to do, it's not always perfect, things just happen, but the memories are treasured and they bring me so much joy.
@bcgal00 Thank you for the sweet comment! I'm glad you had fun there too. It's definitely one of our favorites and I'm looking forward to going back some day!
@bellbird I used some of the "imperfections" of our trip as an opportuity to note tips for myself for future travel! I agree that sometimes having distractions in photos adds to the reality of what the experience was! (in this case it was a delivery person and someone carrying a garbage bag right next to me, so I took creative liberties, lol)
Gorgeous photo! Yes, I need to push myself to travel more too. For years we couldn’t afford it, but soon, as our children leave the nest, we will be free to delve back into the ambitions of our youth. Best to do so while we can!
