    This is only to have the test. I still have to see the specialist which could take 2-3 months as I am using our free healthcare system (this is speedy service compared to 13 months and counting for my mums heart valve replacement)

    @bellbird that’s about normal, when I was younger all of my glasses had to be manufactured in Australia as there wasn’t the special equipment here to grind the lenses thin enough so they cost about 3 times as much and took longer

    I guess the bright side is they didn't need to come from further like the US. I bought shoes from Amazon.au & the tracking showed they shipped from the US, but I initially looked on US amazon & they weren't able to ship to me if I bought them from the US site, it's all a bit crazy
