Happy first day of spring everyone!!!
The transition from winter to spring is my favorite and I’m feeling so excited that spring is finally officially here! I am thinking of ways to celebrate spring and have a list of five to share with you today along with a free printable.
Five Ways to Celebrate Spring
- GET OUTSIDE | Yes, being outside does so much for our souls, especially as the weather is getting warmer and spring is in the air. Getting outside is the easiest and simplest way to celebrate spring. So…go for a walk, sit on your porch with a book, lay down in the grass…just get outside!
- HAVE A PICNIC IN THE PARK | When my kids were little I loved nothing more than packing a blanket, a sandwich and snacks, and heading out to the park for a picnic. Now, I’m just wondering why I don’t do that more.
- GO ON A PHOTO WALK | Go out and capture all the signs of spring by taking photos of them on a photo walk. You can do this in your neighborhood, a close park or travel further for your photo explorations.
- CHANGE YOUR CLOSET OVER | When the calendar turns to spring, I want nothing to do with the dark colors and heavy materials of winter. Give me all the clothes bright and light!! I’m beginning to transition my closet over to spring and love the way it changes my mood.
- PUT UP A SPRING PRINTABLE | Along with changing your closet, begin changing up your home decor by putting up a spring printable. I made one to get you started!!

I created this printable using the Rooted Bundle by Elif Sahin Designs which just happens to be on sale for 50% off today! It’s a perfect collection to document all of your spring celebrations, too!
