Here in the Northeast we still have a bit of summer left to enjoy, but we are just starting to get a hint of the cooler weather lurking around the corner. The kids are almost back to school (after Labor Day for us!) and things are starting to wind down and transition from lazy days of summer to schedules & structure. For us, this means more dinners around the family table. It also is a time when the cooler temperatures of fall allow me to turn my oven on again and serve up lots of comfort food for my family. Speaking of comfort food and family dinners gathered around the table, Lynne-Marie has a gorgeous set of Bon Appetit products on sale today, some old, some new … let’s have a look. The Bon Appetit bundle is classic, elegant and perfect for scrapping family meals and delicious food, whether you make it yourself or are enjoying time eating out with family or friends. Lynne-Marie also created a brand new set of journal cards to add to the collection (sold separately).
Did you know there is even a matching Hybrid Recipe Book? Imagine how cute this would look on your kitchen counter as you whip up your next gourmet meal or one-pot wonder. I use Pinterest these days to organize my favorite recipes, but I always print out the ones I use over and over again. I think I need to download this and make a pretty binder to organize all my printouts that are just sitting in a folder in my kitchen drawer.
And if you are tight on space in the kitchen and just want a few recipe cards close by, wouldn’t this adorable Recipe Box be handy? This would also be a fabulous gift for someone just moving out into their own place for the first time or a newly married couple.

Also featured today are two lovely and brand new hybrid projects created by Lynne-Marie CT members Karen B and Gaëlle. These would be amazing for a bridal shower, wedding or holiday dinner (Thanksgiving will be here before we know it).
Here is what KarenB had to say about her gorgeous project:
I have always been a crafter and since discovering digital, love hybrid crafting. It’s so adaptable and offers so many possibilities. I loved putting this selection together. It’s butterfly themed, but you could use other embellishments too e.g buttons, feathers, flowers and if you have a cutting machine, you can make your own embellishments. I just happen to love butterflies lol Also, don’t just think ‘wedding’ I often make the little bags up to give to friends with a small gift inside. I find that working with Lynne-Marie’s products inspire me so much and I can’t wait to do more!
Here is what Gaelle had to say about her lovely project:
When Lynne-Marie suggested a hybrid projet with the bundle “Bon Appetit”, I didn’t know where it would take me. But when I saw the examples, I said why not. I started with the design of the bag (template, paper) and I decided to put a label on it for the name. Having only very very basics tools (scissors), I decided to put a shadow on my label to give the impression of depth. To close the box, I thought I should add a little more… a ribbon or a bow… and finally decided to add a “Bon appetit” tag (very simple to cut) which also recalls the kit. I put cookies in the bag. The idea of coasters and menu came to me later. In the end, my table decoration was a sensation with my parents, they were very impressed and I was proud to have made my first hybrid project. It makes me want to release another one …
Honestly, parties aside, you could print these out and simply use them for an ordinary Sunday family dinner. Imagine the look on your family’s face when they come to the table and see these beauties? Maybe some delicious treats or after dinner mints tucked into the gift boxes? I’m pretty sure you would be nominated for the next Mom of the Year award. Remember, all these products are on sale today. I hope you are inspired to make family meals a little more special; whether you choose to create a new way to store your recipes, a special table setting or simply to create a lovely page about gathering around the table with a delicious meal. I invite you to share your projects created with the Bon Appetit collection in Lynne-Marie’s gallery. I’d love to see how you make family meals special!
