Hello and happy Thursday!!
Today I am super excited so share with you an ongoing project I have started in my Traveler’s Notebook. I admit to being a Traveler’s Notebook collector and recently I have made a goal to actually start using these notebooks that I have amassed.
For a while now, I post a weekly roundup on my personal blog called “5 on Friday” where I share five updates for the week. These are simple things that have occurred during the week, such as what I’ve been reading, watching, listening to, etc. I decided to start creating a page in my Traveler’s Notebook to go with these 5 on Friday posts using a selfie I’ve taken during the week.
I first create my page in Photoshop using a traveler’s notebook template. For this page, I used the Traveler’s Notebooks Template Set 5 by Sabrina’s Creations.
After completing my page I hid the photo and frame and printed the page on cardstock without the photo. Then I separately printed the photo on photo paper. I used a paper trimmer to cut the page to the size of my traveler’s notebook and the framed photo out. I used adhesive to layer the photo on the page.
For this page I added washi tape over my photo. I also added round circle stickers on the accompanying page.
And for this page, I added a coordinating word strip adhered to the photo with a paper clip.
I am super excited for this ongoing project in my Traveler’s Notebook. It will be a different kind of personal everyday life type of documenting.
