Hello there, Polly Stefanie here with three layouts I created with Anita Design’s : Voyage kit and pocket cards and template album set. I decided to limit my options and just use a single kit and template album set and goodness it made the process so quick. I customized the templates as I went along and am so happy with the results.
There are 8 different templates in the album series. But honestly you could flip them around, change things up and really customize it to create a full-fledged album quickly and easily.
I added a map paper as a background, clipped papers to the flat lay embellies and added a shadow to make them appear like paper banners etc.
This one has staples for visual attachment, and the pop of dimension from a flower and greenery. Even though I used a template, I still want my style to shine through, that incudes a white stroke around the photos and dimensional shadows.
For the final layout I curated a bunch of photos from our trip, it worked beautifully to give an over view of our time spent together. Some photos are great and deserve a huge showing, and others, less sharp or whatsapped to me have a lower resolution and so keeping them smaller is much much better.
I hope that you will try one of these techniques:
- Using small photos as an overview > 30 snaps
- Using a map paper as a background paper choice
- Using a tone on tone mini print to house your story
- Alternating with a plain cardstock background and visual attachments
- Adding word art and wire embellishments

Loved your pages and seeing how you made them your own. It takes a bit of adapting when you scrap 8 1/2 x 11 but some ideas here to keep in mind. Thanks for sharing.
