Q&A Mini Album

Hi everyone, Sarah here with a quick DIY disc bound mini album. I love how quick and easy this came together so I wanted to share it with all of you.
I began by printing some of the cards from the Memory Pockets Monthly Q&A main collection. I also printed some of the fun questions from Allison Pennington’s 20 Questions: Famous Questions, as well as created my own label for the cover using her 20 Questions: Dymo-mite.

I adhered the cards back to back and used my Me and My Big Ideas Happy Planner punch to punch the side where the discs will go. To punch the cards for the album I made sure to center the holes that I would be punching to the cards so that binding would be fairly centered on the album.

I was able to punch through the two pieces of card stock here with a little extra effort with this punch. There are quite a few of these types of punches out there, some more heavy duty than others, so depending on what punch you use there might be varying results with what you can punch. The awesome thing is that while the hole shape is a little different, all the punches that I’ve found have the same spacing so whatever punch you use, should work with any discs, as well as any prepunched disc bound products.

Once I had all of the holes punched I bound them using 1″ discs from the Arc system. I still have plenty of room to add more pages to my book if I decide I want to add more Q&As later on. I also adhered my label that I created for the title of the album.

Here’s a peek at one of the inside pages all filled out.

This was a bit of a silly take on a Q&A album but you could definitely use this process to create a more serious Q&A album for yourself or your loved ones. Have you created Q&A mini albums or pages? It’s such a fun and easy way to record a bit of our lives as they happen.
