Polly Pick – Dalis

Can you all do a big squeal with me? Dalis is the POLLY PICK this time!!! EVERYone that has spent any amount of time at the Lily Pad knows Dalis, not just for her style and awesome pages, but her kindness and hilarious sense of humor!  But her style is so fun and funky!! She can take a whole lot of paint, texture and ephemera and put them together for art, and art with a heart.  Then add a photo of her most awesome daughter and her pages rock your socks right off your feet! Take a look at her GALLERY!

Here is a little bit about our friend Dalis:

Hi! My name is Dalis, short for Alidalis. About a year and a half my “scrappy home” was closed down and I was “scrappy homeless”. I looked in a lot of places, and then came back here to the Lilypad. It was home to me, I was not new to this place, but it suddenly clicked this time around. I like being able to go to the store and scrap whatever I can in whatever style I can and be able to find just the perfect items for my page. 
If you don’t know me, I am also YOUR PERSONAL SCRAPPER. Every month I start a thread in the SCRAPPING PAD with the title “PERSONAL SHOPPER”. There you can post a picture you would like help in finding kits or elements to scrap your page, or maybe ask about how to scrap an event in your life.
I also run the Art Journal (AJ) challenges here at the Pad. Twice a month we chat in the chat room at 1pm EST and I give everyone their challenge. We have 2 challenges a month, first is our THEME challenge and our second is our VIDEO TUTORIAL challenge. Everyone that finishes both AJ tutorials get their name in the random hat and one winner is selected every month to win a gift certificate from our sponsor… this month is Krista from Sahlin Studio.
