Hybrid Highlights

We’re back with another edition of Hybrid Highlights where we show off some of the amazing hybrid projects being made by the creatives in our Lilypad community! So, let’s get right to it with our first highlight, this delightful card made by Ann-Sofie. Note the tri-fold design and the cut-out window in the front. I love how there is something new to see at each level of the card!

Not surprisingly, the talented ajm has created another beauty this month. This is a great example of how you can use a digital template to create a hybrid project. Template designs, such as the perforated paper here, make great cutting files. And just look at that gorgeous rolled flower at the bottom.

I’m so excited that we have a new contributor this month, making her first hybrid page (although this is so good, you’d never know it was her first!). Amandac made this beatiful, contemplative page. She even incorporated ink, gesso and watercolor! One of the best things about hybrid is being able to play with art supplies you may already have or want to try.

Polly Lori (lcpereyra) created this lovely scrapbook page. I love the traditional scrapbooking style and the use of stitching, handwriting and string are hybrid perfection! Lori’s page also shows off some of the great product you can find in our Still Trending category in the store. The Still Trending category helps showcase past designs that remain current and seasonal, including some more traditional scrapbook designs such as the Anita Designs’ Joyful Days kit that Lori used to create this page.

Finally, another noteworthy project by Ann-Sofie. This fun matching game would make a delightful Halloween gift or something to entertain kids this Halloween.
