Have you been hit by Cupids arrow?

With Valentines right around the corner I couldn’t help but think about cupid and his arrows!  If you have Photoshop CS or Elements then you can make your own arrows to play with!

To find the tool you want you can either use the shortcut command by just pressing your letter U button, or you will find the “line tool” in the same little box as the rectangle, rounded rectangle, etc….

Selecting the Line Tool activates a series of choices in the Options Bar.

You can change the thickness of the arrow by typing a value in the Weight option box and select a color from the Color options box. In Photoshop, be sure to select “Shape Layers” from the set of three icons next to the line preview.  Holding your mouse over any of these options will tell you what the button means!

Now click on your layoutt and drag out an arrow the length and direction of your choice!  In that same options bar up at the top you can also make an arrow shape with your cutsom shape tool and then choose the arrows category!  Doing it this way gives you a few more options, expecially if you are a little familiar with paths and doing clipping masks with them!
