January 26 - Repeating, Transforming and Connecting Shape/s to Make a Frame

I hope I did this right, I used a polygon shape and shifted it twice to make it look like 3 layers, I duplicated all of them several times, so they had a different paper on the top for the frame, I also used the same shape for the picture. This was challenging, as I was unsure I was doing it correctly.

Thanks for the challenge - this was fun. Much harder than I thought to get a decent frame. I made a circle frame (cookie cutter tool), duplicated til I had 3, resized & skewed & arranged into a frame. Used a glitter style on them in different shades.

I also hope I did this right. I used a flower shape and duplicated, resized and rotated it. This was a very creative challenge - I learned a new technique. Thank you!

I had fun with this, I hope I did it right. Fun challenge Justine, thanks.

What a fun challenge. I used a leaf shape in photoshop and resized it and for some of the leaves, I removed the fill and then added a photoshop style to them.

And how I did it, I started with a shape from Photoshop, duplicated it and erased parts to create three separate shapes. Then I combined the center into a row, duplicated four times to create a frame, applied a style and clipped it to the outer frame. I used the inner frame above and below this to create a layered frame, clipping paper to both. Then shadowed.

Here is a visual:

I used the beautiful Shelley Volante font; upper and lower case "S/s"; combined, resized, rotated to get a pleasing decorative frame.

I started with just a basic square shape and warped it. Each shape has been rotated, warped in a different way and then I applied varying texture to many of them as well. Then stacked them all changing the stacking order as I went around.

Great challenge! I read and reread the instructions several times before I was able to grasp and formulate an idea. I used 2 shapes (a star and the character's headpiece) - changing sizes and rotating to create a frame for my photo.

I used a teardrop shape to make my water drops and the resized & warped them to make them all a little different. I then added a water style from Mommyish. Thanks for the fun challenge!

My frame is KASEY. I stretched, resized, and warped the letters. I applied a watercolor style after adding the color with a brush.

I used the custom shape of chevron from PSE. Copied and transformed 4 more, pulling each one a little wider for 5 different-width chevrons. Then copied the line of 5 chevrons several times and rotated them to make a frame.

Here's my page, when I finished I saw that the kit was retired but it's not for sale anywhere else so I hope that's ok @bellbird? I started with a custom shape from Photoshop: a photo reel, which I then warped, resized and I folded corners.
