Great feeling/thing to document. I totally hear you too. I miss all the hairpins all over the house when my daughter still lived with us and was taking ballet classes and forever taking her hair down and leaving the pins everywhere. Not she's married! Sigh!
love the stretched and flipped chevrons and how you connected them - that subfloors pack is one of my stash essentials! i can't imagine ever missing the abundance of shoes and hair ties DD leaves around the house ever at this stage (18y.o) but i guess i will eventually
