January 25th : Art Doll (Style Challenge)

I saved this really fun one until last. This MOC I have finally become at peace with the art journaling style!

ETA Spring obviously! It is my favourite season. I love how it is all about new life - my own three were each born in a Spring month.

 
@Firstoscartgrouch It can be as simple as a background paper. Pieces of Tangie's template clipped to other papers, then arrange. A head, torso and 2 arms. Once you get those 5 things laid out, if you want to add anything go for it. If not, submit it? It doesn't have to be fancy. I dragged my feet forever before finally finishing up my first dolls. Today's dolls still aren't quite what I hope for but I'm learning and a few of my 'not up to par yet' dolls have become faves.

Or Title page - How NOT to make an art doll. Arrange 5 pieces, scatter some random seasonal elements, a pair of scissors (or glue, etc) and call it done?
Or maybe start with a scene? Then place the 5 doll pieces in it.
Or maybe put down the 5 doll pieces and then put a halloween costume over it?
Ohh,, just thought of one I want to do for me - put down a selfie and frame it (to appear like a mirror). Then build a doll facing away from viewer - looking into mirror....I'd need word art. Yep, gotta go, hope you find a fun solution!

You have the template1!!!!! LOL find a nice paper for the dress, pick a torso, clip it, then find a beige or pale pink paper, clip arms, and legs if you want them and so on!!!! you have all these almost 20 pages of LOs showing you the way!!!!!!! <3 look forward to your page!!!!!!

The first Friday in February is designated wear red day to bring awareness of heart disease the #1 killer of women. Even though it is a winter date the the layout the colours the feeling invoked in living, and life all shout spring to me when there is a renewal of life.
