January 15: Paper Blending (Technique Challenge)

I blended a yellow textured solid paper with a white wooden plank paper from the same kit. I also changed the opacity on the clock and the Today title to make them blend in more with the background I created.

Such a fun challenge. I blended a star paper into my background, and then I blended a bunch of watercolor brushes with papers clipped to them too - I just couldn't stop, lol

I'm not sure I can explain what I did... I just kept layering and erasing and blending until I decided to stop. The background is a combination of 3 pattern papers.

i love blending. this is two papers blended with photo to give a brown and textured feel and lower part is a word paper and a colored paper blended.

Geez, I had too much fun with this one!
I blended this colorful paper with the sun like rays under the black crisscrossed paper. It toned down the background a bit so the elements would pop. I turned down the opacity then I erased parts of the black paper so the colour would show through more. I markered up some areas as well.

Thanks for this challenge. I blended 2 papers for the background and another paper for the paint below.

Here's mine...

The building paper was dark on white background, so I used the inverse option to flip it and then blended it over a mottled black paper.

Blends, from bottom to top:
Base paper = distressed black.
Striped paper clipped to a gradient then blended into the distressed black.
Another layer of distressed black, clipped to a gradient.
Red hearts (extracted from a more dense paper from same kit) blended using soft light.

I blended 2 papers - a textured sand paper and a blue swirl paper and then blended a photo on top of that and used Lighten.

i blended the paper with purple circles into the gold backround
