1. Create a background with at least 2 papers
2. Change the blend mode on at least 1 of the papers
I took a lightly minty green grid bottom paper and put a BOLD polka dotted paper on top and changed the blend mode of the top to 60% opacity and Color Burn.
This is my daughter Shelby and her boyfriend as the boat is pulling out of Miami on the first day of their cruise 1/12/17.

@AmandaJ - OMG....that photo is priceless! What a gorgeous page. @docsheila1 - Sheila....the blending is awesome and that photo is stunning! @LoveItScrapIt - Kiana - love the background and that bit of paint is just perfect for this page! @tw1717 - Thx for sharing how you blended your background. It turned out fantastic! Love the light artsy feel to this! @chigirl - Judy...your page is gorgeous and love the bit of blue with the creamy neutrals! @Rikki - love the background paper blending, so dark and moody! @cookingmylife - your page is beautiful and the blending is just perfect!
I used the craft paper as the background and the white with trees over it with a multiply blending mode. Thanks for the challenge! I should use this more!
I do this with almost every page I make so this is like a freebie challenge for me! Often when I can't decide between two papers or I just want the paper I'm using to be lighter or darker I will pair two papers and change the opacity of the top layer.
@Mama Shades - wow...beautiful blending! @Iowan ....love the colors you blended, it's a beautiful page! @mirjam - not only is it a gorgeous page but I love the subject (you know I love food pages)! @pagefrocks - Lori....the map blends in wonderfully over the woodgrain!
#15 MOC Paper Blending
I know that this is dated 2016. I wanted to order my 2016 'family encyclopedia' and I realized I am missing the title page! I blended sveral papers and pngs in the pocket cards.

and Just Jamie made some templates for 2016 week 1. I used some of those elements from those templates.
