OMG what a cool technique! I have blended elements with paper to change the colour, but I don't think I have blended two papers together. Thanks for the idea!
Here is my LO:
Supplies used:
Lynn Grieveson Belle Rosa kit
Dawn Inskip Frostbite
For my background papers I have 4. The first is a polka dot paper by LG normal. The second is a gesso paper by DI, it has a layer mask on it and a lot of it is brushed away. The third is a rounded rectangular frame I made and clipped a LG paper to it and set it to Color Dodge and lowered he opacity to 70%. I put a layer mask on it to grunge up the frame. The 4th is a paper by LG set to multiply and 57% opacity and a layer mask added to only allow some of it to show through. The template I made myself and clipped photos and LG papers to it.
Blended two papers solid #7 and pattern #13 from Bella Gypsy Burst of Sunshine….I dropped opacity to 60% and used Vivid Light Blend Mode.
Kit: Bella Gypsy Burst of Sunshine
I started with a white solid paper, I added the black with octopus and lowered the opacity on a brushed mask, added a chevron red and white paper with a different brushed mask and changed the opacity, a red with black polka dot changed opacity on the brushed mask, and added a red and white diagonally striped and changed opacity of it on a brushed mask.
I used a gray background paper that had some swirly designs (which you can see under the top pic) and on top I added the plaid gray white and pink paper. I blended with a linear burn.
