Here's my layout for today's Photos + Words challenge. This past year has been a year of many adjustments in caring for our fur baby as you can see from my journaling text (full text in Gallery). As we've adapted we've discovered we can do more than we ever thought possible. And I'm sure some of the things we're learning will be helpful as we continue to age ourselves!

Hope this is ok - I didn't take a photo of the wounded lip when it happened so I found a picture of my lips when they were a little sore and I drew a stick person falling down and took a picture of it. Let me know if that doesn't qualify.

I find long journal challenges hard as I am usually just the who, what, when sort of journaller. So this took me a few days to think about and then put together. Decided to go with memories of 2022.
